Born in Washington in 1969,

I am the fourth of seven children. Somehow my mother still managed to set up her easel in the wheat field whenever we visited Grandma and Grandpa in Canada so that she could paint Chief Mountain again for another aunt. I loved watching her

paint in the outdoors and in the corner of our family room. Every birthday I would get a new pastel or watercolor set that would make my mouth water. Age 11 was a red-letter year when I got my first oil paints and put them into action immediately.

Today I work to create sumptuous paintings from my own corner in the office. Go Mom! I am also a mother of seven — seven daughters (ages 6-20) — who keep me busy, cheerful, and singing goofy songs all day. I currently work and live in our sweet home in Palo Alto California.
